My skin take a beating. While I’m aware sun and salt can be nice for the skin, my regular routine looks like HOURS in full sun. I might go for a surf from 7-10am in Summer in QLD. Or from 2-5pm. I don’t aim to stay out of the sun, I aim to be in it when the tide and wind is right. This is not exactly what’s recommended. There are no ‘small doses during smart times’ here. 🤣
I cover my face in Surfmud when I’m in the water. It’s the only brand I trust for that. Which means when I get home I need to be able to wash it off well and then re-hydrate and replenish.
I’ve tried a lot of other brands of skincare, from the lowest investment organic to the highest investment organic and also non-organic or pure ones too, and the result is that I kept coming back to Verage by doTERRA.
If it was another brand that made the Verage Collection, it would have been that that I go to, I just lucked-in that it’s with the company I work with, and I get it for the lowest cost. I played the field, it didn’t work for me as well as Verage 🤣🤷♀️. So this is why I yell this collection’s benefits from the rooftops.
The collection itself has FOUR key components. Cleanser, toner, moisturiser, and serum.
I would say I have normal to dry skin. I sometimes have hormonal pimples around my chin. I’m ruddy, I have reddened capillaries close to the surface of my cheeks and I’m covered in freckles I’ve had since I was a kid.
CLEANSER: The cleanser is a clear gel-type consistency. It is the BEST cleanser I’ve ever used (including against the other doTERRA one IMO). It is non-porous. It doesn’t dry your skin out. It doesn’t sting when you get it in your eyes. It cleans even my Surf Mud off with no residue and it feels super light.
TONER: The toner I don’t use all the time (lazy gal). Though (LOL) if I’m working out a lot or riding a lot or have sweat pimples, I’ll add lavender and tea tree to it and use it on my butt after I dry-body brush so I keep the peach super smooth. 🍑🤣 You may just want to use it as designed.
MOISTURISER: The moisturiser is the GOAT of moisturisers. It’s light, it’s dewy, BUT it really keeps moisture in then skin. It is not oily and doesn’t leave a residue or grease stain on your pillow. You can apply makeup over the top and it doesn’t cake your foundation or BB cream. It’s EPIC.
SERUM: The serum is based off the Salubelle blend of anti-aging and skin soothing + healing oils. All of the essntial oils within this blend are chosen specifically for their skin supportive, smoothing, and anti-ageing properties.
